With over 16 different modules, both analog and digital, and 4 power supply options, coupled with numerous controllers and accessories, the System 1000™ offers more flexibility than any other Distribution Amplifier package available. The System 1000 is, in fact, much more than the state-of-the-art in audio distribution system; its comprehensive design provides the ability not only to flawlessly distribute audio throughout your facility, but, very importantly, to control it.

The System 1000 modules are the building blocks for designing your audio network. Cost-effective Mono, Stereo, and Mic-Pre Power DAs and Router-Switcher, Mix, and Control modules, make the System 1000™ the hub for your audio creativity.

The backbone of the System 1000™ is the MF-300 card frame, a 3 RU Eurocard style frame that can hold 12 different modules with optional daughterboards. The MF-300 can be powered by any of the System 1000™ external power supplies, or by the PS-302 internal power supply.The MF-300 connector family is a significant step up in interconnection ease. Simply terminate your house wiring with latching and polarized 3 pin connectors and plug them into the mating connectors on the backplane of the card frame. Pre-connectorized double ended connection cables are also available to interface with external build-out panels such as the BP-100/7 or BP-100/4 custom QCP panels. Pigtails are available to interface the card frame with "Christmas trees" or Siemens 66 blocks.

Benchmark DA-101 Mono power DA
As the original System 1000 module, the DA-101 remains one of the most versatile amplifiers available to the audio professional. Although the DA-101 is a mono DA, it has two inputs and a signal routing switch, allowing selection of either input 1 or 2, or a mix of both.

Benchmark DA-102 Stereo power DA
The DA-102 is a stereo distribution amplifier with five on-board splits per channel. A signal routing switch allows selection of either input 1, input 2, or both for signal mixing to the outputs. We normally configure a sixth output at 0 ohms for use with external build-out panels to furnish many additional outputs. It can also be reconfigured as a sixth 60 ohm or a 1k ohm mono mix output.

The DAC-104 is a four-channel, 24-bit, 96-kHz Digital-to-Analog audio converter module for the System 1000 module frame. This is the first digital audio module for the heretofore totally analog System 1000

Benchmark DDA-205
The DDA-205 24-bit, 192-kHz Digital Distribution Amplifier / Router Module. The DDA-205 is a 10-output (dual 1x5 or single 1x10) AES digital audio distribution amplifier. Each digital audio distribution amplifier (DA) carries two audio channels (for a total of 4 equivalent analog audio channels). The card operates at sample rates between 32 and 192 kHz, at any word length up to (and including) 24 bits. The DDA-205 transparently passes all data bits. The input-to-output delay is exactly one sample for data, C, V, and U bits.

Benchmark PS-302 Power Supply (2 pieces)
The PS-302 is an internal bipolar 15 volt, 2 amp power supply for the System 1000™ card frame. The supply also provides +12 V logic and +48 V microphone power. The power transformer mounts externally in a 2 RU high chassis, two of which may be mounted on the same plate, side by side, in the rear of a chassis rack.
